Honda CB1100 pics and video

The Honda CB1100 vintage naked is available in Japan dealerships this week, at a price of about 8,000 euros (950,000 yen). There’s no knowing whether the CB1100 will hit the export market yet, although even if that price were to increase, it seems quite competitive. The production CB1100 is based on the CB1100F concept of 2007, and is available in red, black and white, with ABS or without, and with an option of high or low handlebars.

The CB1100 is designed very much as a vintage style bike and as such has modest performance stats. The four-cylinder DOHC engine produces 87 hp and 92 Nm of torque, ideal for this kind of cruising, retro bike. The focus on good looks is evident in the finished product of the CB1100 and that’s what this is all about – a stylish, good looking, retro run-around. See the pics and video for a closer look.

iT WOULD BE A SHAME FOR HONDA NOT TO BRING THE CB1100 TO THE STATES. AND WITH THE MISTAKES WITH THE DN-01 AND THE NEW VFR1200, I BELIEVE HONDA IS OUT PRICING THEMSELFS. DN-01 WAS TO BRING PEOPLE INTO BIKING NOT SCARE THEM OUT WITH HIGH PRICE. THE VFR IS A MARVEL BUT FROM $10,500 OR SO TO JUMP TO $16K PLUS???? WHERE IS THE COMPETITION? I MEAN THAT IN TWO WAYS, WHERE IS THE OTHER COMPANIES SO I CAN BUY ONE OF THIERS AND WHERE IS THE COMPETEDING PRICES. THEY JUST PRICED THEMSELFS OUT OF 1000S OF SALES. NOW ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO BUR THE TOP END BIKES CAN AFFORD THEM.

He thinks it is a stainless exhaust a […]
  • Clutch compatibility, early 900rr to 954rr July 30, 2010
Has anyone tried this? I am looking at Barnetts website and the 93-95 900's are the same part numbers for the friction plates, and the spring kit in the 98-99 900 is the same aswell... Reason I am asking is, there is drag support for the 900rr's, and I would really like to outfit the 954 with a slider/lock up but not have to flip the 2500-3000 for […]
