Awesome Bike! Had one for a month now. The Cons first, the Seat Height is a little tall (I'm 5' 7" with a 30 inch inseam I got use to it a shorter rider would not). It seriously needs a 6th gear, MPG's would probably go up by 20-30% above my 51 city, 62 highway. For 10K it would be nice if the Paniers came with the liner bags. Road vibration in the grips is a little excessive my main grip (I bought some grip pups to cure it).
Pro's its an awesome bike, comfort unmatched by any cruiser or sport bike I have ridden, it is no speed demon but it is no snail, the bags are perfect for daily commuting (the left side can even hold a gallon of milk). Except for the Vibration in the grips, I dismounted after a 300 mile ride ready for another 300 miles, no aches or pains except in the wrists. The grip Pups helped cure this on my next ride. Rode it in the rain for the first time today it was awesome, it was raining so hard the windshield was little help at all I never felt a slip. The NON ABS combined braking system works great on really wet roads. Two up ridding is easily do-able with little noticeable power difference. Interstate speed the RPM's are about 100 higher with the wife behind me. Would I still buy it again YES!!!!
Honda we want more bike like this work horse.
The 1800cc plus Cruisers sales days are soon to be the past. I hope Harley Davidson is watching and learning from the NT700V

Now that Honda has shown a moderate priced bike in the NT700V, why not add the HFT as an extra cost option. This would allow we less affluent guys an affordable choice, rather than the 20K VFR1200F or the rediculous DN-01.
