What’s the first thing you do if you have a Honda ANF125i motorcycle which, in stock form, is capable of delivering more than 100mpg (42.5km/l) of fuel efficiency? Why, you bung on a full set of streamliner-style bodywork of course, so that fuel-efficiency goes up to 214mpg (91km/l)! No, seriously, fuel efficiency is important business these days. And the bike you see here – the Quest Velamobile, designed by Allert Jacobs, who’s based in the Netherlands – is just of the many possible ways that motorcycle manufacturers might look at, in the near future, in order to boost their ...Read more. -

After having five strong years, Stiggy Honda has announced that it will be withdrawing from the 2010 World Superbike and World Supersport Championships. Despite the team’s successes, their financial situation is the cause of their undoing, with Stiggy squarely pointing the finger at partner S2 Racing. In their statement to the press, Siggy rested their blame on S2’s financial mismanagement of the team’s funds saying, “the decision has been made after a close evaluation of the team’s poor economic situation which was created during this year’s expanded venture by participating ...Read more. -

Honda launched their new 110cc CB Twister motorcycle in New Delhi today. The new bike is aimed to offer style and looks in the entry-level segment at an affordable cost. The design borrows styling cues from Honda's premium streetfighter model, the CB1000R and it also has similar looking paint schemes available. The entry-level segment in India has shown strong growth recently and it is one segment that no manufacturer can ignore. Honda was lacking its presence in this segment and with the CB Twsiter, the company has now ventured into the 100cc-110cc market, which has been primarily dominated ...Read more. -

Add to that the deep throaty rumble of a big V-twin engine with Honda's Programmed Fuel Injection and that classic big Vee power pulse, and you have a machine that's the perfect choice for cruising--any time you want. Introducing the 2010 Honda ...Read more. -

Honda boss Shuhei Nakamoto has called for Andrea Dovizioso to improve his performances during the course of the 2010 FIM MotoGP World Championship. Dovizioso was outclassed by team-mate Dani Pedrosa in his maiden season with the Repsol Honda team this year, finishing 74 points behind the Spaniard. The Italian silenced his critics with a superb ride to victory in the rain at Donington Park, but that was as good as his season got, with no further podiums achieved. The 23-year-old finished fourth on no less than six occasions, however, indicating that he was usually there or thereabouts ...Read more. -

- Do I Really Need a Steering Damper? February 8, 2010Apparently, this question has been going on for quite a while in this forum, but, judging from previous threads, it still seems like a dilemma as to whether it makes sense to install a steering damper on a 98 CBR900RR, or not. From one side, the majority of bloggers seem to agree that a steering damper is becoming more of an integral part of a motorcycle […]
